Job Swap

On the 19th November 2008 all the Staff and Sisters at St Dominic’s Hostel took part  in the Job Swap. This entailed changing one’s job with someone else whilst ensuring that St Dominic’s keeps running at its best.

This meant that the rooms needed to be cleaned, linen needed to be changed, residents needed to be attended to if they had a medical complaint, morning activities needed to keep running, food needed to be prepared, medication needed to be given, phone calls needed to be answered, faxes needed to be sent and maintenance needed to be done too.

 

The day was a great success with residents and staff enjoying the break in the routine. It was a great eye opener to recognise all the things that need to be done for St Dominic’s Hostel to run smoothly. It is thanks to the hard work of the dedicated staff that we are able to keep up the good standards we have.
