Who are we?
A 50 bed, Aged Care Facility.
Run by the Dominican Sisters of Malta.
Under the Direction of a Board of Management - a highly dedicated group of Professional Men, on voluntary basis.
Current employment: well trained and qualified staff.
This modern and elegant facility is situated in a very strategic site, where a number of venues offer a variety of activities from which our residents and relatives can benefit.

Access
· Pick up & Drop off Bus Stop at the Hostel’s main gate (easy excess to Blacktown Train Station & Westpoint Shopping Centre).
· Hostel’s Van available for regular trips to the Social Clubs / Westpoint / other on request.
Residential Unites
Total of 50 rooms, each with an individual ensuite facilities.
· 49 permanent
· 1 respite
The rooms are of a moderate comfortable size. Each room prides a verandah overlooking the courtyard / garden. They are readily cabled for TV; Telephone & Nurse Call System.
Hostel Facilities
24 hour on call service - Multilingual Staff - Visiting Doctors - Trained Nursing Staff - Physio & Divertional Therapists - Hair Salon - Laundry Service - Elevator & Ramps - Kiosk - Outdoor parking - Occupational / Physio / Divertional / Aroma Therapy Rooms - Freshly Cooked three meals a day - Multipurpose Hall - Garden with beautiful landscaping and a variety of water features - Smoke Detectors & Sprinklers – Adequate car parking – No bars to the receipt of visitors.
Daily activities:- A wide range including, Outings - Concerts in house and out - Board Games - Computers for the residents’ use - Religious / Cultural / Social activities.
St.Dominic’s Hostel is a low care facility with aging in place which caters for all Nationalities and all Denominations; pensioners and non pensioners. It is well maintained, clean and offers comfortable and beautiful interior settings.
The Hostel has already undergone 3 Accreditations and is proud to have passed all the 4 Standards and 44 Outcomes.
